Blizzard Entertainment has kicked off a closed beta test for the third expansion to their massively multiplayer online (MMO) title World of Warcraft.

The first wave of invites have been issued to players interested in checking out Cataclysm, which is slated for release later this year.

According to the Blizzard website, players who want to participate must create a beta profile through their account on the online service Battle.net.

Cataclysm will feature two new races for players choose, goblins and worgens, and will raise the game's experience level cap to 85.

Happy Birthday! It was 8 years ago today that the "StalkingTigers" clan was started on Blizzard's Battlenet. Before WoW, it was the best online gaming envirement around. 3 Different games, starcraft, warcraft, diablo, all could visit each others clan channels to chat and war...

Now we are The "Tigers" and hold over 480 active members in the Greymane server, Alliance faction. Here is hopping we all had happy holidays and to look forward into our personal and gaming lives!

We have hit 500 members a few times and have started cutting members who have not logged into thier accounts in over 3 months. If you are gone and come back to WoW? You are still welcomed back to your guild but should understand we have to be able to see our members names. Blizz has a limit that shows names in guild roster, this limit is 500. We are there. " The Tigers of Greymane " ( oldest guild on Greymane ).. Laid back, no endgame raiding scheduled, too laid back for all the drama and whining. Tons of old school gamers that have been here since wow started that just like to jump in and enjoy the game.
